About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team on a casual basis. The role involves working closely with participants to provide tailored support, fostering independence, and ensuring they can actively participate in their community.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household duties.
Support clients in social and recreational activities to enhance community engagement.
Provide transport assistance for appointments or outings as required.
Collaborate with participants, their families, and other professionals to implement personalized care plans.
Maintain accurate records and follow NDIS guidelines.
What We are Looking For:
Previous experience in disability support, community services, or a related field.
Knowledge of the NDIS and a commitment to client focused care.
Relevant qualifications.
Effective communication and people skills.
Reliable, patient, and empathetic nature.
Current First Aid and CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain).
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with insurance.
NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
Police check.
